The Izmirlian Foundation partnered with the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia to support initiatives aimed at strengthening Armenia–Diaspora engagement and creating opportunities for more structured cooperation between Armenia and Armenian communities worldwide. The partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding signed in March 2024. As part of this cooperation, the Foundation supported the 2024 Global Armenian Summit, held in Yerevan on 17–20 September 2024.
The Izmirlian Foundation supported the Alexander Spendiaryan Music School in Yerevan through a series of initiatives aimed at strengthening music education and creating opportunities for talented young musicians.
The Izmirlian Foundation supported the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra as part of its commitment to strengthening Armenia’s cultural institutions and promoting access to high-quality cultural experiences. In 2017, the Foundation financed the modernization of the power supply system of the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall in Yerevan, addressing an important infrastructure need of one of Armenia’s leading cultural venues. The upgraded power supply system contributed to the reliable and uninterrupted operation of the Concert Hall, supporting the activities of the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra and improving the conditions necessary for hosting concerts and other cultural events.
The Izmirlian Foundation supported the technical enhancement of the Repatriation and Integration Center of the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs by equipping two auditoriums used for Armenian language courses, seminars, meetings, and workshops. These activities are offered free of charge and are designed to support the smooth integration of repatriates into life in Armenia.
